The person behind the work

Christopher Law

Christopher Law is an organizational leadership scholar, financial services and technology leader, and creator of the Authentic Intelligence Model (AIM). His work asks how leaders can retain responsibility for consequential decisions when AI influences the outcome.

Research in service of better judgment

Law approaches this work as an academic and ethicist first. The purpose is to give people a usable way to examine AI decisions, protect those affected, and make responsibility visible. Adoption of a tool or the sale of a book is secondary to that purpose.

His doctoral research at Muskingum University, Authentic Intelligence: An Ethical Framework for AI Hiring in Financial Services, examines permission to use AI, stakeholder relationships, and the obligations that remain with an institution even when it relies on a vendor.

A model, a book, and practical tools

The Authentic Intelligence Model connects Gate 0, the Triangle, and the Orbit. Together, they help leaders examine permission, Rights, Reasons, Results, and wider effects before and throughout AI use.

Law is the author of the forthcoming Authentic Intelligence: A Leader’s Guide to Ethical AI, planned for January 2027. The book extends the research to a wider set of consequential decisions. The companion workbook is available free by request, so teams can begin using the model without purchasing the book.

The framework supports accountable human judgment. It does not promise to automate ethics or remove the need for professional, legal, technical, or organizational review.
