About this companion & your privacy
This experimental companion uses 62 prepared summaries covering the AIM guides, the book’s 12 chapters, and selected author discussions and interview preparation. Browse the book teaching guide or the author Q&A to check the supporting material. These are public paraphrases, not full email threads, interview transcripts, or the manuscript. Discussion drafts remain tentative. The companion cannot give book page citations. Generated applications and drafts need your review.
Browser AI uses WebLLM with your choice of Qwen2.5 1.5B or Qwen3 4B. A larger model requires a larger download and more memory; it does not guarantee a better answer. Model files download from Hugging Face and MLC’s GitHub-hosted files; those services receive normal download requests. A device check runs after loading. Responses are screened for obvious corruption before display; that screen does not verify factual accuracy. Generation runs in this browser.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits and basic website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies. Questions and answers are not sent to these analytics services. You can exclude this browser from analytics; the preference applies to future activity in this browser.
Session sharing is required to use this companion and happens automatically. Your questions, answer excerpts of up to 900 characters, source references, timestamps, and answer status are saved to the website’s private database for Christopher Law’s review and daily session summaries. Chris may use ChatGPT to prepare those summaries and receive them by email, so shared text may be processed outside your device. No name, email address, IP address, or persistent browser identifier is requested for reporting; anything you type in a question can still identify you. Keep personal and confidential details out of your questions. Sharing does not add you to a mailing list.
The displayed conversation lives in this tab’s memory. Clear, reloading, or closing the tab removes the displayed conversation but does not delete saved session records or email summaries. Use Save to keep your own copy. Model files may remain cached for faster loading until you remove them or your browser clears them.
