This portable guide helps an AI assistant learn your background, audit your current presence, and build a practical promotional program around your work. It begins with your résumé, dissertation or public abstract, LinkedIn page, ORCID public identifier, goals, and boundaries.

No account or email signup is needed to download it. The file is plain text, works with an AI assistant that accepts documents, and can also be opened in any text editor.

How to use it

1. Download the .md file and attach it to your preferred AI assistant.
2. Paste the prompt below. The assistant should begin with five questions, not a long questionnaire.
3. Share the materials you are comfortable using privately. Review the plan and approve any public changes yourself.

Keep control of your information

The guide contains a reusable process, not anyone’s private accounts or contact lists. Start with public or redacted materials. Do not upload embargoed research, confidential employer information, or participant data without appropriate permission. Check your AI service’s data-use settings first.

Use your own authorized account and official secure sign-in when needed. Passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, and secret tokens do not belong in the file or chat. If your assistant cannot access a platform, it should prepare copy-ready material and manual steps instead of claiming to have made changes.
